The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria is pleased to invite its members to the upcoming “Cyber-Security and Digital Sovereignty” Conference, organised by the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Bulgarien).
The conference will take place on 16 September 2026, from 09:00 to 14:00 at Planet Schwarz, Sofia, bringing together leading representatives from the business sector, government institutions, academia and the cybersecurity field.
Among the speakers are Assoc. Prof. Dr Velizar Shalamanov, Senior Commissioner Vladimir Dimitrov from the General Directorate for Combating Organised Crime (GDBOP), legal experts, as well as managing directors of leading Bulgarian and international IT companies.
The programme will address some of the key challenges shaping the digital future of Bulgaria and Europe, including digital sovereignty and geopolitical cyber threats, artificial intelligence and autonomous cyber defence, critical thinking in cybersecurity, and Bulgaria’s strategic role in the development of talent, data centres and critical infrastructure.
The conference is particularly relevant for information security professionals, IT managers, business leaders, legal and risk management experts, representatives of public institutions and academia, as well as professionals involved in decisions related to digital transformation and organisational resilience.
