GLOBUL awarded the winners in the second annual Green Olympics organized by the Akademika BG educational portal. This year’s edition of the initiative was closed at an official ceremony attended by the Minister of Environment and Water, Mrs. Iskra Mihaylova.
This year over 5000 students from all over the country participated in the major environmental education project. Participants were divided in three age categories. They all had the opportunity to test their knowledge of environmental protection and learn more on various relevant topics online at www.zelenaolimpiada.bg.
Participants, who ranked first, second and third in each age group, received special awards from GLOBUL, handed over to them by the company’s Corporate Affairs Director, Mr. Yassen Guev. The champion in the elementary school category Bilyana Hinkova won iPod Nano music player and the winners in middle and secondary school groups Galateya Gerova and Stefanka Gramatikova received GLOBUL Touch SE smartphone and tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 respectively. GLOBUL provided gifts for the silver and bronze medalists from the Green Olympics as well.

The campaign was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and Water and Enterprise for Management of the Environment Protection Activities (EMEPA).
