GLOBUL closed this year’s edition of its traineeship program with a special event during which participants received certificates and planted a tree as a symbol of the growth and development they laid the foundations of.
In the last two months, over 30 students had the opportunity to acquire practical skills and gain real business experience through their internship in the company. They joined a total of 17 divisions including Business Sales, Consumer Segment, Value Creation, Legal Affairs & Protected Information, Regulatory, HR & Administration, Corporate Affairs, Sourcing & Logistics, Network Implementation, etc.
I am very glad I had the chance to be part of GLOBUL traineeship program because these two months taught me a lot about the career I want to pursue. I was lucky to join an amazing team of colleagues who were not only professionals to learn from but also friends who are pleasure to work with, GLOBUL Corporate Affairs division trainee Reneta Slavova said.
The young talents also underwent a presentation skills training and a special induction program in order to learn more about the company’s structure, the main functions of its departments, and its corporate culture, mission and values. In addition, each trainee developed a project under the guidance of their personal tutor and then presented it to the other participants in the program.
So far, over 400 students from Bulgarian and foreign universities took part in GLOBUL Traineeship Program and 30% of them later joined the company’s team. Since the start of the program in 2004, GLOBUL has invested over half a million leva in the development of its internship program and the support of young people in Bulgaria.
