HBCB Participates in the Meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Bulgaria

The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria (HBCB) took part in the Meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Bulgaria, held on 25 November 2025 at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

HBCB was represented by Mr. Mavridis, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Ms. Evelin Vratsida, General Secretary of the Board.

The event brought together representatives of bilateral and foreign chambers operating in Bulgaria to discuss current economic developments, business initiatives, and opportunities for cooperation.

A key point of the event was the presentation of the Eurochambres Economic Survey 2026 (EES 2026), conducted among 41,090 companies from 28 European countries, including 816 Bulgarian companies.

The meeting concluded with an open discussion among the chambers on upcoming initiatives and possibilities for strengthening cooperation within the business community in Bulgaria.

The survey outlined expectations for economic activity in 2026, highlighting:

  • stable forecasts for domestic and export sales
  • positive expectations for the business climate in Bulgaria
  • continued challenges related to labour costs, skills shortages, and access to raw materials
