The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria (HBCB) is delighted to announce the great success of its annual Back-to-Business Networking Cocktail, held on October 8, 2025, at CINEGRAND, Sofia Ring Mall (Tsar Hall lobby). The event brought together members, partners, and friends of the Hellenic-Bulgarian business community for an evening of reconnecting, sharing ideas, and building valuable partnerships.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Dimitrios Michas, Minister Plenipotentiary / Head (Counsellor) of the Office of Economic & Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in Sofia, who attended together with his wife. Mr. Michas delivered a warm and inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of the strong economic and cultural ties between Greece and Bulgaria and the key role of HBCB in fostering this cooperation.
Mr. Liolios, Vice Chairman of HBCB, also addressed the audience with welcoming remarks and provided bilingual interpretation in both Greek and Bulgarian, further highlighting HBCB’s commitment to inclusivity and cross-cultural dialogue within the business community.
The evening also featured insightful Member-to-Member presentations by HBCB’s newest members:
Mrs. Dimitrina Mircheva-Kovachka, representing Spedira EOOD, and Mr. Anastasios Matikas, representing Mundus Services JSCo. Both speakers introduced their companies, presented their activities, and shared valuable insights into their visions for future collaboration within the HBCB network.
The event concluded with a lively networking cocktail in the Tsar Hall lobby, where members and guests enjoyed engaging discussions in a friendly and elegant atmosphere. The success of the evening was
complemented by the generous support of Coca-Cola HBC, who provided all the refreshments, and Kostis Sweet Bakery, who delighted everyone with exquisite catering and irresistible desserts. Their contribution
added a special flavor to the evening and was highly appreciated by all attendees.
