As every year, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko respected the tradition and got ahead of Santa Claus by bringing gifts to the kids from Zdravets, the local day care centre for children with multiple disabilities. Earlier this week, the hotel’s management team visited the centre to surprise the 42 children and adults with disabilities with a Christmas tree and Christmas stockings filled with fruits and delicious sweets. The hotel culinary team had also specially prepared various platters with tasty treats to please the kids. The hotel gifted as well some additional household appliances for the daily needs of the centre.

The team and the children decorated the Christmas tree together and the festive atmosphere was further enhanced by cheerful Christmas carols performed by the kids. At the end, they gave a special handmade Christmas decoration made of pinecones to General Manager Mr Carsten Seubert.

“For me and the whole team, it is a great joy to share the Christmas spirit with the children and to contribute to the festive atmosphere here at the centre,” said Mr Seubert. “This is actually my first visit and I would like to thank the children for the wonderful gift and for the warm welcome. I am glad that we were able to make them smile and had so much fun together. I sincerely hope that our goodwill cause will inspire similar initiatives in support of disadvantaged people, not only in the season of Christmas miracles and hope, but also throughout the whole year.”

The team of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko will continue its long-term commitment to support various events at the centre for children with disabilities Zdravets and is looking forward to welcoming them again at the end of the winter season for the next specially organised Open Day.
