Otherwise the well lit hotel became dark for one hour to get involved in the world initiative to protect the planet.
The hotel team used the occasion to offer its guests a remarkable and different experience. Some of them enjoyed a romantic candlelight dinner by the fireplace in the Mediterranean restaurant Come Prima under the sounds of the gentle and pleasant music, while others relished the evening with their families and friends at the Lobby Bar, which was lighted with numerous small candles. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the guests were satisfied and excited.
The general manager of the hotel, Mr Athanassios Manos said, “Last year we participated for first time in the global cause and having received positive feedback from our guests we were delighted that we will repeat it again.” He further commented, “I hope that in the future, more people will take part in World Earth Hour in defense of the planet. We have to think today for the future of our children and the sooner we start the better and healthier life we will ensure for them. We have to teach them to do the same by personal example.”
The initiative of the hotel turns into a tradition showing that with joint efforts we can save the planet.
