Cadets and students from the Naval Academy Nikola Vaptsarov had practical exercises in Mobile Communications at GLOBUL’s Network Management Center in Varna.

The students and cadets majoring in Naval Electronics were welcomed by GLOBUL representatives with a special presentation explaining the implementation and operation of the mobile network. Guests then had the chance to get a first-hand look at the technical equipment in the Network Management Center, to examine its work in real time and to ask questions.

We at GLOBUL have always supported the Bulgarian universities’ efforts for a practically oriented education. That is why we were glad to provide the Naval Academy students and cadets with the opportunity to see the actual application of their knowledge, namely what kind of telecommunication solutions we use and how they provide our mobile network’s operations, GLOBUL Operations and Maintenance Division Manager Lyubomir Nikolov said.

I am convinced that the students’ personal impressions from the work of mobile networks will be beneficial to both their studies and their professional development. I would like to thank GLOBUL and I hope that more organizations would take on the responsible approach towards the needs of Bulgarian education and young people, Naval Academy Assistant Engineer Georgi Dimitrov, who supervised the training, commented.

Today the second visit of the Naval Academy students and cadets will be held, during which they will be able to observe closely one of GLOBUL’s base stations in Varna.
