Postbank won an award in the Quality category at the third annual successful business awards of the Confederation of the Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIBG). The prestigious award went to the financial institution for creating quality products, modern service channels, web-based services and sustainable benefits for the customers. In 2015, the bank won an award in the Innovations category for the introduction of entirely new customer-oriented approach to banking. The CEIBG's awards are aimed at stimulating innovative Bulgarian production of good quality. The awarded companies are an example for all who do business in Bulgaria, and impose new and higher economic standards.
"It is important for us to support the citizens and the companies, their plans for development and their future, in the best possible way. We have been focused on creating good products and offering excellent service for over 25 years. Our success is a result of the serious investments in quality we make every year in various areas of our activities – banking products and services, IT infrastructure, bank network, team training and introduction of new alternative service channels, along with activities in the field of the sustainable development and care for the society. It is all being done in the name of the customers who need us, the banks, to be closer to them, to be their trusted partner, to foresee their needs and to offer fast and quality solution. At Postbank we strive to make our well-working model and good service practices even better because the true success for us is, in fact, our customers' success," Mrs. Petia Dimitrova, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board, said upon receiving the award. The prize was presented to Mrs. Dimitrova by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Boyko Borisov.
The awarding ceremony brought together over 400 guests from the country's economic and political elite. The biggest and most prestigious business event was organized for charity with the main portion of the funds raised to be provided to the development of “Economy Academy” – the CEIBG's biggest initiative in the field of education and vocational training of young people, which is also supported by Postbank. It offers second and third year students the opportunity to join paid internships in CEIBG member companies.
As a reliable partner of the Bulgarian citizens, entrepreneurs and international companies presented in the country, Postbank aims to provide not only universal and standardized banking services but also new quality products, developed and tailored to the needs of each customer. The bank plans to make serious investments in the digitalization of its business, the offering of innovative products and the introduction of a new, even more modern service approach that would distinguished it from the other financial institutions on the market.
