The Cabinet in Sofia has officially approved a draft joint action program between the Ministries of Tourism of Bulgaria and Greece for the period spanning 2024 to 2026.
This draft program signifies the strong commitment of both nations to enhance their amicable relations and actively contribute to the ongoing development of their collaborative efforts within the tourism sector.
The two ministries will actively promote and strengthen their cooperative endeavors, not only focusing on the expansion of tourism in forms with substantial potential for attracting visitors, including thermal, cultural, marine, mountain, ecotourism, and more, but also dedicating efforts to the training of personnel and participating in joint projects that receive European funding.
Additionally, these two countries are set to engage in partnerships within various international organizations, including but not limited to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
