Kempinski The Spa’s guests will have the opportunity to receive personalised care and exclusive Ayurveda treatments

Bansko, 17 November 2022: Suraj Varma, one of the world’s best holistic therapists, specialising in Ayurveda treatments will become, once again, part of the team of Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko. He will practice during the festive season – from 15 December to 10 January 2023 – at Kempinski The Spa. During this period, guests will once again have the opportunity to avail themselves of special Ayurvedic treatments that are fully personalised to each individual’s needs.

Suraj’s treatments are well-known for being able to produce long-term effects when it comes to backaches, stress management, insomnia, poor circulation, sore muscles, and others. They are a combination of the best of traditional therapies, including Ayurveda massage, Prana healing, Reflexology, and a variety of eastern techniques, such as Aromatherapy, Lymphatic drainage and Hot-stone therapy. His success comes from really listening to his clients and understanding what their bodies need. After detailed consultation, he applies a combination of techniques to achieve the desired result. The guests have, indeed, the opportunity to enjoy entirely tailor-made treatments suitable for their own needs and profile.

Suraj built his career around his deep knowledge of Ayurvedic traditions passed from generation to generation in his family. His grandfather and his father are famous Ayurvedic practitioners and he is continuing the tradition in Ayurveda healing.

“I have learned the power of Ayurveda healing from my father, and I still consult with him time to time. I was watching him help many people with different problems since I was a child and I saw that miracles could be achieved through massage therapy,” said Suraj.

So, he started his training as a young boy, helping his father. After university, he completed an apprenticeship to become a qualified practitioner and he continued his education at the prestigious Ayurveda Hospital at Coimbatore in Kerala, India. Since then, he has joined different luxury hotel spa centres as a freelance holistic therapist, treating high-profile clients, such as Tina Turner and Mika, Sheiks, politicians from all over the world, business leaders, and professional athletes.

The guru of holistic therapies has been featured in prestigious publications like The Guardian, Vogue and Tatler.
