Flag carrier Bulgaria Air said that it has decided to cancel its direct flights on several routes until the end of April due to restrictions over the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) across Europe. The carrier will not operate flights to Israel’s Tel Aviv, Italy’s Rome and Milano, and Russia’s Moscow until April 30 and to Cyprus’ Larnaka until April 17, it said in a statement last week. Bulgaria Air continues to service flights to the majority of its direct destinations at temporarily reduced frequencies, it also said. Domestic flights between Sofia and Varna remain reduced due to low demand.
