On January 29, 2024, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou, the Minister of State, visited Sofia. Throughout his visit, he engaged in discussions with Mr. Assen Vassilev, the Minister of Finance, with a primary focus on enhancing connectivity between Greece and Bulgaria in the fields of energy and transportation, particularly along the North-South corridor. As part of his agenda, the Minister met with representatives from the Hellenic Business Council of Bulgaria at the Greek Embassy in Sofia. Various pertinent issues were deliberated upon during this meeting. Upon its conclusion, the Minister expressed gratitude to the board members of HBCB for their dedicated representation of Greek companies in Bulgaria over the years, acknowledging HBCB’s active presence in the Bulgarian market.
